This game starts off like asteroids, but none of the original sounds are there. The firing mechanism only releases one "bullet" every 1/2 second which is very unlike the original game. I know the original Asteroids would be considered "laughable" by many so-called gamers, but its actually a cool game. This version doesnt do it justice at all.

Graphics not even up to the standard of the original! Asteriod movement buggy and the movement controls lack any smoothness.

Very DISAPPOINTED, pitiful, pathetic, NOT THE ORIGINAL , NOT THE ORIGINAL I love the basic graphics of the opriginal, and this is not even up to those. The original was advanced compared to this. A waste of .99 cents, I cant say enough bad about it. App store should not even allow this to be available, until it is drastically improved I will be more careful next time.

This game is pretty disappointing…not a good interpretation of the game at all. Bad graphics & bugs.

The controls are a lot like the old game but the sound effects are different. I think the extra features you get in the game like getting to shoot tons of shots at one time. The game its self is fine I would just perfer to have the old sound effects. Thank you for making it for though.

The controls are not fluid, the sounds are terrible. The gameplay is absolutely horrible. The only worse dollar Ive ever spent was on a can of mustard sardines. Well, I take it back, the sardines actually had some value.

absolutely one of the worst games Ive downloaded - jerky, halting graphics, poor controls. Sound very poor. Except for the fact its white graphic on black background - this does not even come close to the original. Waste of a dollar.

This is far from the best Asteroids game Ive played. Probably the worst. The early Atari Asteroids console game from 1980 was much better and a lot less buggy. But for $0.99 I cant really complain. Im hoping the developer improves the game because it does bring back fond memories of playing the game in the arcade.

I was mislead to believe that it was like the 80s version which was fast an fun. This is a rip-off and should be removed from the App Store.

This game is useless. I doubt theyll ever raise the price. More likely the App Store will remove it. I may ask for a refund just to make a point.

Ok, so this isn’t the 80’s game, at least in its original form. It looks like the physics may have been duplicated from the original because it feels the same. The music from the old version if missing, which I really loved, at least the DUM DUM DUM DUM WOO WOO WOO WOO sounds.. OK I know your laughing right about now! Anyway, they changed it up by giving you a few weapons, which is kind of cool. Overall I give them props, not bad for someones first game port. But it is misleading they say its the 1980’s game when it isnt.
